#Pooh Shiesty Seeks To Have His Shooting Case Resolved As Soon As Possible

Miami, FL – Pooh Shiesty is looking to have his armed robbery case resolved as soon as possible. According to court documents viewed by Rolling Stone on Monday (October 4), the “Back In Blood” rapper has withdrawn his request to delay the federal trial.

After previously arguing for a delay until at least December 6 to build a defense that the New 1017 Records rapper wasn’t part of a “drug-trafficking conspiracy,” Pooh Shiesty is ready to go forward with the case under the advice of his legal team.

“[It’s] in their best interest to proceed to trial [in three weeks] even in light of the voluminous discovery,” his attorneys argued.

The Memphis native is being hit with charges for discharging a firearm during a violent crime, conspiracy and robbery under a law regulating commerce. The charges stem from a 2020 armed robbery in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida.

Shiesty and two friends — Bobby Brown and Jayden Darosa — arranged a meet-up to purchase marijuana and high-end sneakers in October 2020. During the deal gone bad, which was caught on camera, Pooh Shiesty and Brown allegedly shot two men in the butt and hip.

Federal agents used an Instagram photo of Pooh Shiesty showing off dollars that had the same serial number that matched up to the bills in the Louis Vuitton designer bag allegedly left from the Bay Harbor shooting.

While on the bill for festivals such as Rolling Loud, Pooh Shiesty behind bars at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Additionally, Pooh Shiesty is also dealing with a separate Florida shooting case. During Memorial Day Weekend, the 21-year-old allegedly shot a security guard in the ankle at Miami’s King of Diamonds strip club.

Pooh Shiesty will be back in federal court on October 25.
