Pokémon Legends: Arceus has received a new preview video, which offers a look at its one of its noble Pokémon, the Axe Pokémon Kleavor.
As the game’s website explains, nobles are Pokémon that have received a “mysterious blessing” and are “particularly powerful.” Some of these lend assistance to the folk of the Hisui region, and the Hisui people in turn have wardens that protect them and offer food and water.
Unfortunately, something is causing these nobles to go into a frenzy, as seen with the Kleavor in the video. Frenzied nobles are bigger and have a shiny look, and returning them to normal requires throwing balms made from their respective favourite foods at the Pokémon. Defeating frenzied nobles in Pokémon Battles will make them temporarily dazed, making them easier to hit with the balms.
The video also offers a look at other gameplay features, such as Pokémon riding, cosmetic customization, and the photography studio.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is set to release on January 28, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch, with pre-orders already available.
