#Pokemon GO Shiny Tornadus – How To Catch, Counters and All Guide

The Forces of Nature trio is in raids for the second time since the game’s launch five years ago. Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus will be rotated as raid bosses throughout the month of March and the Season of Legends. This includes their Incarnate Formes as well as their Therian Formes for the first time. Incarnate Forme Tornadus raids are currently taking place all over the world. In Pokemon GO, here’s how to get a Shiny Incarnate Forme Tornadus.

Shiny Incarnate Forme Tornadus

Unfortunately, unlike Landorus before it, there isn’t much of a difference between the Shiny and regular versions of Incarnate Forme Tornadus. Parts of the shiny version’s body change from purple to blue this time around. His horns, tail, and body spots all fall into this category.

While it isn’t the most exciting shiny change, Tornadus’ shiny form is the first to appear in Pokemon GO. Regardless of his new palette, he’ll remain one of the game’s most sought-after Pokemon. However, how are you going to track him down?

Raiding + Counters

Tornadus will begin raiding on Saturday, March 6 at 8 a.m. local time and will leave on Thursday, March 11 at 8 a.m. local time. Players will have five days to participate in as many Tornadus raids as they can.

Tornadus is a Pokemon of the Flying-type. This means he has three double weaknesses, including Rock and Electric, for trainers to exploit.

Unfortunately, raiding Tornadus will not guarantee you a shiny, but it will give you the best chance of getting one. Fortunately, with Pokemon GO’s Shiny Legendary Pokemon, he should have a much higher shiny rate of 1/20.

GO Battle League

Trainers who participate in the GO Battle League Season 7 will have the chance to encounter Shiny Incarnate Forme Tornadus. Players will be guaranteed an encounter with Tornadus once they reach level 20, but it is not guaranteed to be a shiny encounter.

Tornadus can still appear in the rewards once you reach level 20 if you win enough battles to earn an encounter.

Trading

The third method is more about who you know than anything else. If you don’t manage to catch a Shiny Tornadus, you can always hope that another trainer did – just make sure you have something good to offer them in return!
