# PlayStation Beta Program announced

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the PlayStation Beta Program initiative, which will serve as an “easier, more consolidated way” for users to register their interest in future PlayStation betas across various experiences.

The Beta Program will create a centralized place to register for a range of future PlayStation betas, including beta access to test participating games for PlayStation 5 and PC, new PlayStation 5 console features, PlayStation App Features, and user experience features on PlayStation.com. Users only need to sign-up once to express interest in these various betas.

The requirements are as follows:

• Players must have a valid account for PlayStation Network in good standing with a current email address. Accounts with restrictions or violations may not be eligible for participation.
• Players must live in the region where Beta Program at PlayStation is available.
• Players must meet the legal age requirement for their region.

Registration will open globally today via PlayStation.com. It should be noted that joining the program enables users to be considered for beta participation, but does not guarantee selection for a beta test.
