Playboi Carti has shared a new song and music video called “2024.” The track, produced by Ojivolta, Earl on the Beat, and Kanye West, was uploaded to Carti’s YouTube in the early hours of Friday, December 15. Watch it above.
Last week, Carti shared a new song called “Ur The Moon” to his Instagram account. The flurry of new activity — and reporting from DJ Akademiks, who revealed Whole Lotta Red‘s release date — indicates that a January 2024 release of Carti’s new album, tentatively titled I Am Music, may actually be coming.
In 2023, Carti was arrested and charged with assaulting his pregnant girlfriend. He denied the allegations through an attorney. He appeared with the Weeknd and Madonna on the song “Popular” from the soundtrack for the HBO series The Idol.
