#LISA’s 2025 Oscars red carpet look included a floor-length suit jacket

BLACKPINK’s LISA rolled up to the 2025 Oscars red carpet not in a glittering gown or silky sheath — but a floor-length suit jacket. The K-pop star forwent frills and train for a crisp white jumpsuit under the inky black suit jacket (that was also giving tailcoat vibes), which she accessorized with a single red rose. The look was custom made by MARKGONG, a young designer based out of Shanghai who launched his brand in 2018 in New York City upon graduating from Parsons.
It was an unexpected styling choice for the singer considering its more business-chic vibe verses the award ceremony glam most of the other women wore to the event, though it fit the occasion. It was her Oscars red carpet debut, but LISA wasn’t attending as a nominee, but a performer. The White Lotus Star was tapped to sing at this year’s Oscars ceremony alongside Doja Cat, and Raye, who also feature on her debut solo album, Alter Ego.
