#Paradox Live The Animation Unveils New Team Visuals

Four new individual team visuals have been unveiled for the upcoming Paradox Live The Animation TV anime series, which is scheduled to air in October 2023. 

The four new visuals highlight the team that will be involved in the anime’s rap battles: BAE, The Cat’s Whisker’s, cozmez, and Akanyatsura. 

Naoya Andou is serving as the series’ director, while Takayo Ikami (Isekai Cheat Magician) as screenwriter and scriptwriter, and Kouji Haneda (The Faraway Paladin) as character designer. PINE JAM is in charge of the animation production. 

Paradox Live The Animation features an ensemble voice cast that features Gakuto Kajiwara as Allen Sugasano, Ayumu Murase as Yeon Hajun, and 96Neko as Anne Faulkner for the group BAE; Ryouta Takeuchi as Naoakira Saimon, Yuu Hayashi as Yohei Kanbayashi, Natsuki Hanae as Ryuu Natsume, and Junta Terashima as Shiki Ando for The Cat’s Whisker’s; Yuusuke Kobayashi as Kanata Yatonokami and Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Nayuta Yatonokami for cozmez; and Takayuki Kondou as Iori Suiseki, Shima as Gaho Zen, Shunichi Toki as Masaki Hokusai, Tasuku Hatanaka as Satsuki Ito, and Shougo Yano as Reo Maruyama for Akanyatsura.

Paradox Live is part of Avex Pictures and GCREST’s media-mix project franchise that centers on rap battles between four different rap groups. Several musical singles and albums from the series have been released since 2019. 

The story takes place in the future, where hip-hop culture has inspired a movement called “Phantom Live.” Rappers now have the power to create illusions connected to their emotions using special accessories called “phantometal” to inspire people from the stage. However, the price they pay for these new powers come in the form of traumatic illusions that haunt them. Four rap groups gather at the legendary CLUB PARADOX, where they participate in intense rap battles to prove their dominance.
