One of Palm Beach, Fla.’s toniest hotels will soon have a coastal sister.

The Schlesinger family, owners of Palm Beach island’s Brazilian Court — a favorite of gathering place for celebrities and the superrich — has succeeded in buying out all but two of the owners of the oceanfront co-operative, The Ambassador, at 2730 South Ocean Boulevard, just steps from the Four Seasons.

“It was an opportunity to buy oceanfront property for hospitality or multi-family use,” Bobby Schlesinger told the Post, who bought the first 69 units for approximately $35 million and eventually picked up 26 additional units. “It’s the best of both worlds.’’

The 100 units, which occupy two buildings and range from studios to three-bedrooms, all have kitchens and balconies.  In addition, the Schlesingers have purchased the salon, gift shop and pool deck dining area, with plans to unveil a new dining spot there this Friday, called The Ambassador Grill.

The developers are updating The Ambassador’s existing structures, originally built in 1947 and 1963, and making them immediately available for both short-term visits ($271 to $1,226 nightly) and longer stays ($7,500 to $30,000 monthly). The lobby and hallways were redone along with flooring, bathrooms, kitchens, beds, dressers and counters. The hotel opened for business in December but the property’s overhaul will take place over the next two years.

“If you try to find a rental in Palm Beach now, the market is almost nonexistent,’’ co-owner Bobby Schlesinger told the Post. “Everything will be redone soup to nuts.”

When the full conversion is done, The Ambassador will become an official sibling of the Brazilian Court, potentially called Brazilian Beach Resort. For now, Brazilian Court guests have access to the private beach and cabanas with showers and lockers at The Ambassador.

“We believe very much in the Palm Beach market,’’ said Schlesinger.  “I envision this as a generational piece of real estate — it’s for the long term.’’
