#Painted Shrines (Woods, Skygreen Leopards) Announce Debut Album, Share New Song: Listen

Painted Shrines is a new project from Jeremy Earl of Woods and Glenn Donaldson of Skygreen Leopards. Their debut album is called Heaven and Holy and it arrives via Woodsist on March 5. Below, check out the first single, “Gone,” as well as the full tracklist for the album.

Having known each other for over a decade, Earl and Donaldson came together after the Skygreen Leopards member invited the Woods singer to record at his studio in Northern California in 2018. They made their initial Painted Shrines recordings in a week, before the Papercuts’ Jeff Moller added bass and finished the album during quarantine.

The Skygreen Leopards released an archival compilation titled The Jingling World of the Skygreen Leopards in 2018. Woods released an album titled Strange to Explain last year.
