# Overwatch 2 reveals new playable hero Mauga

Blizzard Entertainment has released a new trailer for Overwatch 2 revealing new playable Tank Hero Mauga, who is due out alongside Season 8 on December 5.

The trailer description reads: “Equipped with two chain guns (Gunny and Cha-Cha), Mauga is ready to bash through the front lines of his opponents and tear through anyone who stands in his way with tons of firepower. Get acquainted with Mauga’s ability kit before his official debut in Season 8.”

Blizzard Entertainment also outlined future Overwatch 2 content, including the new game mode “CLASH,” new map “Hanaoka,” a new damage Hero, and a new support Hero.

Overwatch 2 is available now in Early Access for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Battle.net.
