#Overtake! Racing Anime’s Trailer Previews More Character and Car Footage

The upcoming Formula 4-themed anime Overtake! has received a trailer (labelled as “PV Part.1”) that offers more racing footage as well as cuts of the supporting cast (whose voice actors were announced in March). A new visual, which focuses on the three main drivers and their respective cars, was also released.

An October 2023 premiere date was revealed as well.

Additionally, more staff names for Overtake! were released, including:

• CG director: Stimulus Image’s Masaya Machida (Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story-)
• CG director: Iguchi Mitsutaka (Lord El-Melloi II’s Case Files {Rail Zeppelin} Grace note)
• Music composer: F.M.F’s Kana Utatane (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform)

Overtake! is animation production company Troyca’s 10th anniversary project. Ei Aoki (ID:INVADED, Re: CREATORS) is directing the show with Takako Shimura (Aoi Hana mangaka) as original character designer, Masako Matsumoto (Aldnoah Zero) as character designer, Ayumi Sekine (Idolish7) as series composer, and Katsuhiko Yamada as supervisor.

The cast includes:

• Katsuyuki Konishi as Koya Madoka (Freelance photographer)
• Tasuku Hatanaka as Kotaro Komaki (Mechanic. Son of Komaki Motors founder)
• Kengo Kawanishi as Satsuki Harunaga (Belsorriso first driver)
• Taku Yashiro as Toshiki Tokumaru (Belsorriso second driver)
• Reina Ueda as Arisu Mitsuzawa (Belsorriso race queen)
