Maybe all it takes to reduce city shootings is an act of God.

Just three people were shot Tuesday — as Tropical Storm Isaias raged through New York — far fewer than he two days prior, which saw double-digit shootings amid an ongoing spike in gunplay citywide, cops said Wednesday.

A 23-year-old woman was in the passenger seat of a moving car on 109th Road near 169th Place in Jamaica around 9:20 p.m. when someone fired from the street, striking her in the right leg, cops said.

It didn’t appear the woman knew the person who shot her, police said.

She was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center by private means.

Hours earlier, shots rang out at Ninth Avenue and West 39th Street in Midtown around 3:30 a.m., striking a 21-year-old man in the chin and arm, according to police.

He was taken to NYC Health Hospitals/Bellevue with non-life-threatening injuries, and simply told cops he heard shots and felt pain.

And around 12:20 a.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in the left leg at 158th Street and Amsterdam Avenue in Washington Heights.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and went to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital by private means.

More bloodshed was reported on Monday, when seven shootings wounded 13 people.

The city endured a bloody Sunday, with 16 shootings involving 20 victims.

On Saturday, five shooting incidents with five victims were reported. That day, the city recorded its 777th shooting, topping the 776 reported in all of 2019.
