In New York City, malls will be allowed to reopen at 50 percent capacity provided they’ve installed the new sophisticated filters that help block the coronavirus from spreading through recirculated air.
Shoppers and staff will be required to wear face masks, abide by social distancing rules and indoor dining will remain off-limits.
And the Resorts World Casino at the Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens told The Post that will be able to reopen under the gaming guidelines too.
However, the gambling hub will only be able to operate at 25 percent of its usual capacity and must be six feet between the opening gaming machines, officials said.
“The Resorts World team has been anxiously awaiting the day when we can open our doors again to the fun and excitement that our casinos are known for,” said Bob DeSalvio, the president of Genting Americas East, which runs the facility.
