OMORI Manga Gets Yoshino Aoyama-Voiced Trailer for Its 2nd Volume

The OMORI manga adaptation received a trailer last week to commemorate the release of its second volume, which debuted on the same date as the trailer (May 22 JST).
The Aubrey-focused promotional video includes a voice performance from Yoshino Aoyama, the voice actor behind characters like Hitori “Bocchi” Gotoh from Bocchi the Rock!, Naomi Otoya from Grand Blue Dreaming!, and Miwa Mikadono from the upcoming Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi. The first volume’s commemorative trailer (which centered on main protagonist Sunny) had brought in Natsuki Hanae for the job.

The OMORI manga by Nui Konoito started serialization in the August 2024 issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon, which launched on June 25, 2024 JST. It is based on the 2D psychological horror indie RPG from OMOCAT, which was first released on Steam in December 2020 before getting a Japanese localization and Nintendo Switch and PS4 ports.
K Manga describes the manga as:
After— something— changed his life four years ago, Sunny has not left his house once, living in his own reclusive bubble. Hoping for a fresh start for her son, his mother decides to move their family out of town. However, when his childhood friend Kel re-enters his life, Sunny finds himself thrust back into a world he once knew. With only three days before the move, the duo come across familiar faces as they go through town — reawakening a dark past that Sunny has tried so hard to forget.
The OMORI game was also available on Xbox One and Xbox X/S via Game Pass for a time, but was removed in June 2023.
