#Ohmme’s Macie Stewart Announces Debut Solo Album, Shares New Song: Listen

Macie Stewart, the Chicago-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist best known as one half of Ohmme, has announced her first solo album: Mouth Full of Glass is out September 24 via Orindal. Below, watch the Lia Kohl–directed music video for the album opener “Finally” (via GoldFlakePaint).

“This song is meant to be a gentle urge to face yourself, and ultimately face the cumulative white lies we tell ourselves in order to get through all sorts of relationships,” Stewart said in a statement. “Writing this felt more like a discovery of lightness, rather than a dark absolute.”

Last year, Ohmme shared their album Fantasize Your Ghost.
