Octavia Spencer has a special delivery for Elon Musk‘s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) employees.

The Oscar winner took to her Instagram on Tuesday to offer to bake the iconic chocolate pie from her 2011 film The Help, which includes a “special ingredient”: poop. She also shared a photo of her character Minny holding the pie in the respective scene.

“Bake sale for Washington to ALL DOGE employees and supporters. I need good vanilla from MEXICO and some CANADIAN maple syrup. #limitedEdition pies. Corn and chocolate. Need lots of donations for the “special ingredient. Eat looooooooots of corn. one time sale fill out The cards below. Who would you send a pie To?” Spencer wrote in the caption.

The Help, based on a novel of the same name by Kathryn Stockett, is set in the 1960s in Jackson, Mississippi, during the civil rights movement. It centers on African American maids who have spent their entire lives working for white families, and the hardships they go through on a daily basis. In one notable scene, Spencer’s Minny bakes her famous pie for her former boss (Bryce Dallas Howard) but adds her own feces to it as revenge for firing her.

The film also starred Viola Davis, Emma Stone and Jessica Chastain. Spencer won an Oscar for best support actress for her role as Minny.

Spencer’s latest post comes as Musk and his unofficial government agency DOGE continue to slash agencies from the U.S. federal government as part of President Donald Trump’s efforts to radically cut spending and reduce jobs and select programs. More than a dozen states have filed lawsuits against Musk’s DOGE, arguing that the billionaire’s authority is unconstitutional.
