#New Rebuild of Evangelion Video Features 11 Languages in Various “Famous Scenes”

Amazon Japan has a new Rebuild of Evangelion video that previews its 11 language options for the movie tetralogy using various “famous scenes” from the films.

The currently unlisted video previews the movies’ French, German, Mandarin, Castilian Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Hindi, Korean, Latin Spanish, Italian, and English dubs in addition to the original Japanese dub. It was reported in July that the films would be dubbed in 10 languages and subtitled in 28 languages. 

The “famous scenes” used in the video include Shinji’s first encounter with Rei in Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, his battle with the Ninth Angel-possessed Unit-03 in Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance, and various scenes from Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon A Time.

Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance,  Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, and Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon A Time are set to release on Prime Video on August 13. They will be available in over 240 countries and territories.

The movies are a retelling of the 1995 Neon Genesis Evangelion series, which is currently streaming on Netflix along with the Death and Rebirth and The End of Evangelion movies. Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon A Time is a new version of 2021’s Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time that contains several animation revisions, but does not alter the story.
