#NYC man Elijah Shepp arrested for deadly Brooklyn shooting

A gunman was arrested on Sunday for the deadly shooting of a 25-year-old man in Brooklyn, cops said.

Elijah Shepp, 22, was busted Sunday evening and taken to the the 75th precinct in East New York on charges of murder, attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, according to police.

The deceased victim was identified as Wayne Washington.

The shooting occurred just before 11:30 p.m. on Saturday night. Police responded to a 911 call of two people shot at 580 Pennsylvania Ave.

Police discovered Washington unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported by EMS to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A 19-year-old female also received a gunshot wound to her torso, police said. She was taken to Kings County Hospital and was listed in critical condition on Sunday.

A firearm was recovered at the scene, police say.
