#NYC deli owner stabbed in the neck by thieving duo

A Brooklyn deli owner was stabbed three times in the neck by robbers Thursday, police sources said.

The 44-year-old deli owner was behind the counter at Friendship Deli at 5 Bradford Street in Cypress Hills around 2:45 p.m. when the man and woman came behind the counter and stabbed him, the sources said. The two stole an unknown amount of money, cops said.

The victim, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical, according to police.

A police source said the duo is known to the deli owner.

“They come in to the store and cause trouble from time to time,” the source said.

There were no immediate arrests.
