#NYC couple found dead at home in possible murder-suicide

A married couple on Staten Island were found inside their home Wednesday night in a possible murder-suicide, police sources said.

Police responding to a wellness check at about 9:30 p.m. found the bodies of a 68-year-old woman and her 63-year-old husband in the bedroom of their home on Ragazzi Lane near Mills Avenue in Arrochar, according to police sources.

The woman was lying face up on a bed with trauma to her neck, police said.

The man was found hanging inside a bedroom closet, according to cops.

Both of them were declared dead on scene.

Police sources said there is no documented history of domestic violence between the couple.

An autopsy will determine the causes of death, police said, as their investigation continues.
