The expansion of indoor capacity at New York City-area sporting venues such as Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and Nassau Coliseum on Long Island will come just in time for the NBA and NHL post-seasons.

The massive facilities are currently only allowed 10 percent capacity amid COVID-19 restrictions.

Museums and zoos in the state are currently at 33 percent, while movie theaters have been at 25 percent.
