Today, Nvidia unveils the next generation of GeForce Now. The GeForce NOW RTX 3080, a cloud game that will be accessible as a premium subscription plan of the platform. As you may recall, this can be utilized for free in its most basic sense.

For a while now, NVIDIA has significantly focused on streaming gaming in varied forms. It all started with a system that enables us to send our games from our PC to another device, such as a television. Then, it slowly morphed until the unveiling of GeForce Now more than a year ago, a cloud gaming feature that allows us to play a large number of the games we own on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and other stores from nearly every platform.

Users to this service will have access to the GeForce Now Superpod, a supercomputer with a processing power of 39,200 TFLOPS, 11 million CUDA cores, and 8,960 processor cores
Enables you to play at up to 1440p and 120 fps on PC and MAC, at 1080p and 120 fps on suitable mobile devices, or at 4K HDR and 60 fps on Shield TV.

Outside the graphical performance boost that this new program will provide, maybe the most significant element is the latency of only 56 milliseconds, which is 25 milliseconds less than the standard GeForce Now service and 119 milliseconds less than xCloud, according to the company.
This latency will enable those who are closer to the server to play all single-player titles without difficulty, as well as multiplayer matchmaking games with an experience similar to that of a local game.

Limited Access

All Founder and Priority GeForce Now users will be able to reserve a GeForce NOW RTX 3080 subscription starting today, and all other gamers will be able to reserve a subscription starting next week.

The service will go live in November in the US and December in Europe, with access being granted in stages to avoid overcrowding the servers and to secure the best possible cloud gaming experience.
