#Nukitashi The Animation Series Reveals 5 Main Voice Cast Members

Kadokawa has announced the five main voice cast members for the upcoming Nukitashi The Animation TV series. It has not yet been revealed when the anime adaptation will premiere. 

The anime’s main voice cast will be different from the cast in Qruppo’s original adult visual novel and stars: 

• • Kohei Yanagi as Junnosuke Tachibana 
• • Minori Ozawa as Hinami Watarai 
• • Shizuka Ishigami as Nanase Katagiri 
• • Rie Okamoto as Misaki Hotori 
• • Ako Koaki aa Asane Tachibana

Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Vampire Dormitory, Life Lessons with Uramichi-Oniisan) is directing the anime series, with Kenta Ihara (Mieruko-chan, The Marginal Service) as screenwriter and scriptwriter and Kumata (Girlfriend, Girlfriend chief animation director episode 8) as character designer. Qruppo’s Naoto Kurahone and Yu Kamichika (who were the original game scenario writers) are credited with the script supervision, with Hamedori-kun providing general supervision. Hakushaku Ebikare, Sasa Ikeki, Umigame, and Kashiko are serving as the music composers, while Passione is the animation production company. 

Qruppo’s Nukitashi visual novel (also known by the title Nukige Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Binnyuu wa Dousurya Iidesuka?) was released in Japan for Windows PC on July 27, 2018. A localized version of the first game with English and Chinese options was published by Shiravune on June 23, 2023, while the sequel’s localization is set to launch this year. It has been available worldwide on Steam since February 2024. 

Nukitashi won the Moe Game Award 2018’s Scenario and New Brand prizes, while its sequel, Nukitashi 2, received the grand prize at the Moe Game Award 2019. A manga adaptation illustrated by Mameojitan began serialization in Beaglee’s Manga Oukoku website on December 25, 2020, before moving to Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine and ending on February 19, 2024. Six physical tankobon volumes were released in total. 

Shiravune describes the main synopsis of the first Nukitashi game as:

Seiran Island, a tropical eden where people are free to act on their desires under a uniquely libertine law. But even here in paradise, there are those who work in the shadows to bring it down…

United, these misfits stand side by side as the secret society NLNS. As their founder and head honcho, I, Junnosuke Tachibana, won’t stop until we’ve crushed this crazy law once and for all!
