Nottz and Bink! made a name for themselves as two of the most celebrated producers to come out of Norfolk, Virginia. Some of Bink! ‘s most notable work comes from producing for several artists on Roc-A-Fella Records, including JAY-Z, with whom he produced three tracks on The Blueprint (“The Ruler’s Back,” “All I Need” and “Blueprint (Momma Loves Me).”

Bink! most recently contributed to Drake‘s Certified Lover Boy with the track “You Only Live Twice,” as well as several cuts on AZ’s Doe Or Die II and Anthony Hamilton’s Love Is The New Black, all of which released in 2021.

Nottz has worked with the likes of Busta Rhymes, Rah Digga, Scarface, Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah, Little Brother and many more. Some of his biggest placements include Kanye West’s “Big Brother” featuring Lil Wayne off 2008’s Graduation, and Pusha T’s “Nosetalgia” featuring Kendrick Lamar off 2013’s My Name Is My Name.

Beat battles are nothing new to Hip Hop, and were responsible for one of the biggest platforms to come out of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2018, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland took part in a producer battle during Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert that served as a precursor to their popular Verzuz series.

Timbo and Swizz held a second part to their battle at the start of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 which officially started the Verzuz craze. Before long, Apple Music, Twitter, Triller and more bought into the platform that gave fans memorable battles such as The LOX versus Dipset, Gucci Mane versus Jeezy, Brandy versus Monica and many more.
