#Noisy Trump supporters get under Biden’s skin at drive-in rally

A group of rowdy Trump supporters got under Joe Biden’s skin Friday when they derailed his Minnesota rally — the frustrated Democratic nominee calling them “ugly folks” and “not very polite people” as they honked over his speech.

The roughly dozen cars of Biden supporters gathered for the small drive-in rally in St. Paul were vastly outnumbered by a large group of enthusiastic Trump voters who assembled across the street with large flags and began interrupting Biden’s address.

The former veep became increasingly frustrated as the group repeatedly blasted horns and sirens, prompting the 36-year senator to interrupt his own speech several times to condemn them.

“These guys are not very polite, but they’re like Trump,” Biden said at the outset of his speech, forcing pleasantries.

“But look, they’re going to be OK. We’re going to take care of them as well. We need to come together. We need to fight for all these folks.”

But the honking only crew louder, making it hard to hear the Democratic nominee at times.

“This isn’t a political statement like those ugly folks over there, beeping the horns. This is a patriotic duty, for God’s sake,” Biden added while addressing mask wearing amid the pandemic.

Later, during his usual crusade against Trump’s tax cuts, the group got another shout-out.

“Ninety-one out of the Fortune 500 companies paid zero in taxes last year. Why? Why should a firefighter, an educator, and that guy blowing that horn, why should he pay?” Biden asked.

The former vice president has been known to lash out during appearances, branding one college student a “lying dog-faced pony soldier” in February when she asked about his poor standing in the crowded Democratic primary.

Biden recycled the barb in June, calling a reporter a “lying dog face” when he became irritated by the line of questioning.

Both candidates hosted dueling rallies in Minnesota on Friday evening, with Trump’s re-election campaign bullishly believing they can win the Democratic-leaning Wolverine state on Nov. 3.

The RealClearPolitics average of polls has Trump trailing there by 4.7 percentage points just four days out from the election.
