#No Longer Allowed In Another World Receives 1st Trailer and Key Visual, July Premiere

KADOKAWA has revealed that the No Longer Allowed In Another World TV anime adaptation will start airing this July. A trailer and key visual for the show were also released.

The staff and main cast of  No Longer Allowed In Another World were announced as well. Shigeki Kawai (Uncle From Another World) is directing the show at Atelier Pontdarc with series composition and scripts from Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Chained Soldier). Tomoshige Inayoshi (Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes character designer, Battle Spirits: Kakumei no Galette co-designer) and Asako Inayoshi (Battle Spirits: Kakumei no Galette co-designer) are handling character design and chief animation director duties, while Kenji Terao (Uncle From Another World) is in charge of the monster design. The music is composed by Kenichiro Suehiro (Undead Unluck, Uncle From Another World).

Meanwhile, the main cast members are Hiroshi Kamiya as Sensei, Rumi Okubo as the priestess Annette, Sayumi Suzushiro as the cat-person martial artist Tama, and Makoto Koichi as the sword-carrying boy Nir.

No Longer Allowed In Another World is based on the Shogakukan-published manga written by Hiroshi Noda and drawn by Takahiro Wakamatsu. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the premise as:

An adventure in another world with cute girls by your side and video game-like powers–sounds like an anime fan’s dream, right? Not so for melancholic author Osamu Dazai, who would quite literally prefer to drop dead. Video games haven’t even been invented yet when he gets yanked into another world in 1948. Really, all the fantastical adventure he keeps running into is just getting in the way of his poetic dream of finding the perfect place to die. But no matter how much he risks his hide, everything seems to keep turning out okay. Follow a miserable hero like no other in this cheerfully bleak isekai comedy!

The manga began serialization in Yawaraka Spirits in 2019 and has nine tankoubon volumes as of June 2023. The tankoubons are published under the Big Comics label.
