NNAMDÏ has announced details of a new studio album and a nationwide tour. Please Have A Seat, out October 7, is the indie artist’s follow-up to 2020’s Brat and will be his first album on new label Secretly Canadian. Lead single “I Don’t Wanna Be Famous” is streaming below.
“I realized I never take time to just sit and take in where I’m at,” NNAMDÏ said of his self-produced album in a statement. “It’s just nice to not be on ‘Go, Go, Go!’ mode, and reevaluate where I wanted to go musically. I wanted to be present.”
Shortly after the release of the album NNAMDÏ will head out on a headline tour. Kicking off October 18 in Iowa, the 15-date national tour will include a Chicago hometown show, plus shows in Brooklyn and Los Angeles. Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, July 1. See below for dates.
