The new milestone comes one year and one month after the series achieved six million units shipped.
Nioh first launched for PlayStation 4 in February 2017, followed by PC via Steam in November 2017 and Epic Games Storein September 2021. Nioh 2 first launched for PlayStation 4 in March 2020, followed by PC via Steam in February 2021 and Epic Games Store in September 2021. A Nioh Collection including remastered versions of both games launched for PlayStation 5 in February 2021.
If you missed the news earlier today, Nioh 2 for PlayStation 4 and Nioh 2 Remastered for PlayStation 5 will be offered free for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of November.
