#Nintendo Reveals Improved Switch with OLED Screen for October 8

In the most Nintendo way of announcing something, the updated Nintendo Switch everyone’s been brewing up rumors about was unexpectedly announced this morning. The new model’s key feature is a 7-inch OLED screen, and it will be available on October 8 for $349.99.

In addition to the improved screen, the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) features a wide adjustable stand, a dock with a wired LAN port, 64GB of internal storage, and enhanced audio for handheld and tabletop play. Color options include the white set (white Joy-Cons, black main unit and white dock) and the neon red/neon blue set (neon red and neon blue Joy-Cons and black main unit and dock). 

The timing lines up the Switch OLED model nicely for the launch of Metroid Dread.
