#NFL Power Rankings for Week 12: Finally some movement

The first three teams in The Post’s weekly NFL Power Rankings posted impressive wins in Week 11, but losses by half of the teams in the Top 10 caused significant movement in the pecking order thereafter.

The Colts, Seahawks and Titans all moved back into the high-rent district entering Thanksgiving week, taking advantage of losses by the Dolphins, Ravens and Cardinals.

1.Kansas City Chiefs, 9-1 (Last week: 1)

Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champions have opened a three-game cushion in the AFC West and are closing in on their fifth straight division title after avenging their lone loss and leaving Las Vegas with a last-minute win Sunday night. Next: Sunday at Tampa Bay

2. Pittsburgh Steelers, 10-0 (2)

The Steelers are a perfect 10-0 for the first time in franchise history after cruising over spiraling Jacksonville. Their defense leads the league in fewest points allowed (17.4 ppg) and most takeaways (21), and receiver Chase Claypool leads all rookies with 10 touchdowns. Next: Thursday vs. Baltimore

3. New Orleans Saints, 8-2 (3)

Taysom Hill threw for 233 yards and ran for two touchdowns in his first NFL start, but it barely will matter who plays quarterback in Drew Brees’ injury absence as long as the Saints’ defense continues to dominate like it did Sunday with eight sacks (three by Cameron Jordan) and two interceptions against Matt Ryan and the Falcons. Next: Sunday at Denver

4. Buffalo Bills, 7-3 (6)

Miami’s loss to Denver allowed the Bills to maintain first place in the AFC East race on their bye week. They will meet the Dolphins in the final game of the regular season, possibly to see which team finally will end New England’s 11-year run atop the division. Next: Sunday vs. LA Chargers

5. Indianapolis Colts, 7-3 (12)

The Colts’ second-ranked defense held Rodgers and the Packers to three points after halftime and forced four turnovers Sunday, including the key fumble recovery in the first minute of overtime. The impressive win sets up a first-place showdown this week in the AFC South. Next: Sunday vs. Tennessee

6. Green Bay Packers, 7-3 (4)

Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s overtime fumble was a killer, but the Packers’ defense coughed up 420 yards and 34 points to Philip Rivers and the Colts. The Pack still can grab a three-game lead in the NFC North with a win against a flawed divisional foe this week. Next: Sunday night vs. Chicago

7. Seattle Seahawks, 7-3 (11)

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks responded to a rough stretch of three losses in four games with a statement win in the NFC West last Thursday over rising Arizona. They can help shape the crazy NFC East standings with another primetime victory this week. Next: Monday at Philadelphia

8. Tennessee Titans, 7-3 (13)

The Titans refuse to go away in the AFC playoff chase, pulling out an important win Sunday over Lamar Jackson and the fading Ravens. NFL rushing leader Derrick Henry and Minnesota’s Dalvin Cook already are over 1,000 yards for the season. Next: Sunday at Indianapolis

9. Los Angeles Rams, 7-3 (10)

Aaron Donald and the Rams’ top-rated defense held Tom Brady to 216 passing yards and picked him off twice Monday night. Jared Goff hooked up with Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods for a combined 23 catches and 275 of his 376 passing yards. Next: Sunday vs. San Francisco.

10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 7-4 (5)

Brady and the Bucs have alternated wins and losses the past four weeks and now must deal with Mahomes and the league’s highest-scoring offense before finally getting their bye in Week 13. Next: Sunday vs. Kansas City

11. Arizona Cardinals, 6-4 (8)

12. Cleveland Browns, 7-3 (15)

13. Miami Dolphins, 6-4 (7)

14. Baltimore Ravens, 6-4 (9)

15. Las Vegas Raiders, 6-4 (14)

16. Chicago Bears, 5-5 (17)

17. Minnesota Vikings, 4-6 (16)

18. New England Patriots, 4-6 (18)

19. San Francisco 49ers, 4-6 (20)

20. Denver Broncos, 4-6 (22)

21. Detroit Lions, 4-6 (19)

22. Carolina Panthers, 4-7 (24)

It’s improbably all happening for the Giants, who could hold a share of first place in the NFC East by this time next week if fading Philly loses to Seattle. With Joe Burrow’s awful season-ending injury, the Giants have no excuses not to post their fourth win in six games this week. Next: Sunday at Cincinnati
