#New Trailer for The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat Released

The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat has received its first full trailer, which offers a preview of the set-up, the characters’ voices, and the opening song “Dark seeks light” by Yui Ninomiya. The anime is set to premiere in Japan on October 6.

A key visual was also released.

The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat is based on the ongoing light novels written by Redo of Healer‘s Rui Tsukiyo and illustrated by Reia. The first volume of the light novels was released in 2019. 

Six volumes are published as of February 2021, while the manga adaptation by Hamao Sumeragi has three volumes as of April 2021. The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat first began life as a serialized novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2018 before becoming a light novel series.

Yen Press describes the first volume of the light novels as:

“I’m going to live for myself!”

 The greatest assassin on Earth knew only how to live as a tool for his employers—until they stopped letting him live. Reborn by the grace of a goddess into a world of swords and sorcery, he’s offered a chance to do things differently this time around, but there’s a catch…He has to eliminate a super-powerful hero who will bring about the end of the world unless he is stopped. Now known as Lugh Tuatha Dé, the master assassin certainly has his hands full, particularly because of all the beautiful girls who constantly surround him. Lugh may have been an incomparable killer, but how will he fare against foes with powerful magic?

Other staff include Chiptune’s Arisa Fujii (The Dungeon of Black Company co-sub-designer) as the sub-designer, Yoshihiro Ujiie (Cells at Work! BLACK mechanical designer) as the weapon designer, COSMO PROJECT’s Hiroya Yoshiyama as the art director and art designer, Hayato Yoshida (The Misfit of Demon King Academy) as the color designer, Yūko Shintani (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! 2DCG designer) as the photography director, Chiptune’s Keiichi Eda (Kageki Shoujo!! CGI director and co-3D modeller) as the 3D director, and Kenichi Kuroda (The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent) as the music composer. Silver Link and Palette are the animation production companies.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Kenji Akabane as Lugh, Reina Ueda as Dia, Yuuki Takada as Tarte, Shino Shomoji as Māha, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Cian, Chiaki Takahashi as Ethilu, Yukari Tamura as Goddess, and Junpei Morita as Assassin.
