#New «Ranma 1/2» anime appears on Netflix!

On the official X-Account of «Ranma 1/2» it was announced that the reboot of the anime classic known from RTL2 will be available on Netflix starting this autumn.

As announced today on X, the new anime adaptation of «Ranma 1/2» from 5. October 2024 broadcast on Japanese television. Shortly after the broadcast, the episodes will be available online on Netflix Check out the first trailer here:

Die original «Ranma 1/2» anime series celebrated its German premiere in April 2002 as part of the anime program on RTL2 and developed quite quickly into a large Hit in GermanyOf the total of 161 episodes, only 80 dubbed in German and broadcast. The series was released on disc in Germany via Anime-Virtual (now Crunchyroll). However, the editions are now all sold out. The Manga series from the pens of Rumiko Takahashi (u.a. «InuYasha») was published in Japan in 1987 and some time later in Germany. The manga can still be purchased today.

New «Ranma 1/2» anime comes from Studio MAPPA

The remake of «Ranma 1/2» created in the studio MAPwhich is responsible for the anime adaptations of «Attack on Titan” and “Jujutsu Kaisen» The main roles of the Japanese voice cast are to be played by almost all speakers the first anime adaptation. The opening song is by again (u.a. «Chainsaw Man»).
