“#New Male Idol Unit DARK NIGHTMARE Joins Idol Land Pripara Web Anime”

The official website for the forthcoming web anime series Idol Land Pripara announced on March 19 that the two-member male idol unit DARK NIGHTMARE will also appear in the web anime, and revealed its member Ushimitsu and Shinya‘s anime visuals.

The two characters have already appeared in the stage play “WITH by IdolTimePripara” held in December 2020. Ushimitsu was portrayed by Shotaro Uzawa (24), while Shinya was played by Kentaro Kawai (26). The two will voice their characters in the anime as well.

Idol Land Pripara, the latest smartphone game app and web anime from Takara Tommy Arts’ idol-themed multimedia franchise Pripara, was originally scheduled to be released in the spring of 2021, but both the game and the anime have been postponed to the summer of 2021 “in order to provide better quality content.”
