#New Jersey TV reporter denies telling Trump supporter to “F–k off”

As the nation ushered in a new era of respect and civility, a New Jersey reporter says he found himself falsely accused of using the F-word against a Trump supporter on live TV.

The website Vulture mocked News 12 political reporter Alex Zdan, reporting he told a Trump supporter to “F–k off” while standing outside the Pennsylvania statehouse in Harrisburg amid a crowd that included both Biden and Trump supporters.

In a clip recorded by TikTok user @rachelsilva473, a man in a mask and shirt marked “Trump” approached Zdan from behind.

Zdan turned around and asked him,  “How you doin,’ pal?”

The man replied,  “Is this real news or fake news?”

According to Vulture, Zdan then blurted, “F–k off,” and turned back to face the camera, smiling, and continued his live report.

But others listening to the video clearly heard Zdan say, “Buzz off.”

Zdan insisted that’s exactly what he said.

He tweeted, “So THAT’S what it’s like to go viral… Look I appreciate the social media love, but I told the guy behind me to BUZZ off when he interrupted me live on @news12.

“But please respect members of the press who are doing their jobs, and telling your stories.”

Vulture later retracted the alleged profanity, and changed its story to say Zdan had yelled, “Buzz off.”
