#Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal Movie Receives New Trailer for Its Second Part

A new trailer for the second part of the upcoming two-part Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal movie was released. The second part will release on February 11, while the first part is due to release on January 8. 

The trailer features the theme song “Moonlight Chainon” by Momoiro Clover Z and the voice actors of Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus. It also features the first part’s ending song, which is a new rendition of “Watashitachi ni Naritakute” (“I Want To Be Us”), the first ending song of Sailor Moon Super S.

A promotional video for Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal‘s first part featuring Chibiusa and Helios was released in late December 2020.

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal, the first theatrical Sailor Moon movie in 25 years, will serve as the fourth season of Sailor Moon Crystal, an ONA series that debuted in 2014. The movie is based on the “Dead Moon” arc of Naoko Takeuchi’s Sailor Moon manga. The movie was originally meant to release in 2020 but was postponed due to COVID-19.

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal‘s staff includes Takeuchi as supervisor, Chiaki Kon (Sailor Moon Crystal Season 3) as director, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Is the Order a RabbitBLOOM) as scriptwriter, Kazuko Tadano (Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens) as character designer, and Yasuhara Takanashi (Talentless Nana) as music composer.

Anime News Network reported that the main cast from the series are reprising their roles. Joining them are Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Sword Art Online) as Helios/Pegasus, Shouta Aoi (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) as Fish Eye, Satoshi Hino (Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train) as Tiger’s Eye, Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Run with the Wind) as Hawk’s Eye, Yuuko Hara (Beastars) as JunJun, Reina Ueda (SSSS.Gridman) as CereCere, Sumire Morohoshi (BNA) as PallaPalla, and Rie Takahashi (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season) as VesVes.

Other new cast members include Naomi Watanabe (The Promised Neverland live action movie) as Zirconia and Nanao (One Piece Film: Gold) as Queen Nehellenia.
