#New footage released of Times Square shooting suspect

Police released new footage on Monday night of the suspected Times Square gunman wanted for allegedly striking an innocent tourist with a stray bullet.

The man is accused of opening fire at about 5:15 p.m. Sunday and hitting 21-year-old Samuel Poulin in the back with a ricocheting bullet outside the Marriott Hotel on West 45th Street and Broadway, according to police and sources.

Poulin, a newlywed Marine visiting the Big Apple with his family for a baptism, was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released from the hospital on Monday, law enforcement sources have said.

Sunday’s shooting occurred just a block from where a 4-year-old girl and two others were hit by stray gunfire just last month.

Police sources said the latest round of violence in the Crossroads of the World may have been triggered by a feud between CD peddlers.

The NYPD is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the following individual in connection to an assault which occurred within the confines of the Midtown South Precinct.

The victim in Sunday’s shooting entered the Marine Corps last month after graduating from The Citadel military academy in South Carolina.

His father-in-law, retired US Army Col. Jack Jensen, is a former Green Beret and counterterrorism official at the Pentagon.
