#New Cute High Earth Defense Club Eternal Love! Anime To Be Made

The production of a new Cute High Earth Defense Club Eternal Love! anime has been announced. Details are mostly unknown at this time, but a key visual is available.

Additionally, it was reported that Shinji Takamatsu is returning as director and sound director, and that Studio Deen is the animation production studio for the new production.

To commemorate, fan-selected episodes will air on TOKYO MX from April 7 at 9:25 PM JST and on BS NTV from April 10 at 11 PM JST. Voting will end on March 26 JST at 11:59 PM JST.

The Cute High Earth Defense Club anime started in 2015 with the Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! series, which Crunchyroll describes Season 1 as:

The story revolves around the members of the “Earth Defense Club” aka the “Do Nothing Club” at Binan High School. One day, the club members are soaking in a hot bath together when all of a sudden a mysterious pink wombat appears out of thin air! The wombat asks the members to lend it their help to protect the Earth. At school the next day, each of the club members receives a magical bracelet enveloping them in a dazzling light.

The first season was followed by a 2016 second season (Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! Love!), a 2017 OVA (Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! Love! Love!), and January 2025’s Cute High Earth Defense Club Eternal Love! The Movie. 

The first Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! series was produced by Diomedea, while the latter entries were produced by Studio Comet. The staff as of Cute High Earth Defense Club Eternal Love! The Movie includes:
