Netflix has announced that it will begin streaming Adam by Eve: A Live in Animation, a “mysterious tale told through a blend of live-action, 3DCG and 2D animation,” from March 15. A teaser trailer has been released.

The project will feature two new songs from Japanese artist Eve, titled “Bouto” and “Taikutsu wo Saienshinaide” respectively. The “Bouto” segment is produced by Studio Khara and directed by Hibiki Yoshizaki (“Me!Me!Me!”), while “Taikutsu wo Saienshinaide” is helmed by Waboku (“Sion”).

“Kaikai Kitan,” the first opening for Jujutsu Kaisen, will also be featured in Adam by Eve: A Live in Animation with the music video’s director Yuichirou Saeki helming the segment and khaki credited for the visual effects. Nobutaka Yoda (Makafushigi) is the director and scriptwriter for the overall project.

Adam by Eve: A Live in Animation‘s story follows high school student Aki, whose friend Taki goes missing one day. Before Taki’s disappearance, she had told Aki about a dream in which she was attacked by something called “Hitotsume.” Other people begin to mention seeing “Hitotsume” in their dreams as well, and Aki ends up wandering into a strange world created by “Hitotsume” while searching for Taki.
