#Netflix Releases Super Crooks Opening Ahead of Anime’s Premiere

Netflix has released the opening animation for Super Crooks, the upcoming anime adaptation of Mark Millar’s graphic novel series of the same name. The opening’s song is “ALPHA” by TOWA TEI with Taprikk Sweezee.

Super Crooks is set to premiere on Netflix on November 25. Netflix describes the anime as:

Luck’s never been on their side, but this crew of small-time crooks with super powers recruited by none other than Johnny Bolt are rolling the dice on one last heist. Their target: A ruthless super-powered crime boss. What can go wrong? Based on the graphic novel of the same name by comic book legend Mark Millar, this super-powered heist story about eight super-villains is jam-packed with action and told in 13x 30-minute episodes, lushly produced by Bones.

The staff includes Motonobu Hori (Carole and Tuesday) as director, Dai Satō (Listener) as series composer, Takashi Mitani (Carole and Tuesday key animator) as character designer, and Stanislas Brunet (Carole and Tuesday world designer) as concept designer. Bones is the animation production studio.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Kenjirou Tsuda as Johnny Bolt, Maaya Sakamoto as Kasey, Hiroshi Yanaka as Christopher Mads, Yasuji Kimura as Carmine/The Heat, Pierre Taki as Gladiator, Junichi Suwabe as Josh/The Ghost, Hisao Egawa as Salamander, Eiji Takemoto as TK McCabe, Tetsu Inada as Roddy Diesel, Subaru Kimura as Sammy Diesel, Wataru Hatano as Praetorian, and KENN as Forecast.
