#Netflix: Eiichiro Oda comments on the “One Piece” series
Finally there is hot news about the planned live-action series «One Piece», which is scheduled to appear on Netflix later this year.
Netflix yesterday shared an update on the current status of the One Piece live-action with fans. The update is a message from One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda, who is also executive producing the live-action adaptation. As he announced in the statement, the series is scheduled for release later this year – but not before he is completely satisfied with the series. He also clarified that the series will consist of eight episodes. In the past there was always talk of ten episodes.

The One Piece series is produced by Tomorrow Studios and ITV Studios. Producer is Marty Adelstein (including «Teen Wolf»). Matt Owens (including «Agents of SHIELD) is a show writer. The series will be available exclusively on Netflix.
