#Netflix Anime Dad Poll Now Open
Anime Trending and Netflix are partnering to host the Anime Dad Poll featuring Netflix anime! With the “Best Dad” title on the line, we are presenting father figures from series such as BAKI, Great Pretender, and Japan Sinks: 2020 to name a few. YouTuber TheAnimeMan placed his support behind Yujiro Hanma from BAKI while YouTuber CDawgVA asked fans to vote for Dracula from Castlevania. But who better to ask for their opinions than actual father figures from the AT staff? We reached out to our dads to ask who they would support based on appearances alone.

James’s Dad (based purely on looking at the character thumbnails):

Koichiro Muto: This is who I would like to be. He’s handsome, Asian, serious looking, and has my haircut. If he was 180 years younger, he’d be a samurai.

Reijiro Fudo: He radiates the most dad energy.

Seiji Ozaki: He’s like Koichiro, but looks older and more responsible. If I was in need of help, I would ask him.

Contributor’s Dad:

Zeus: Would pick because he looks like me the most, so obviously I will vote for myself.

Koichiro Muto: Gives off cool dad energy. [He] has my vote.

Seiji Oaki: He looks cool, but he’s also incredibly suspicious. [He] has a unique design, so bonus points for creativity in design

Kwok’s Dad:

It’s like picking your character avatar in a game. With that in mind, I’d pick Mutō, Kōichirō from Japan Sinks 2020. That’s my first impression.

Voting is now open for the Netflix Anime Best Dad poll!
