On Wednesday (December 22), NBA YoungBoy’s manager, Alex Junnier, took to Instagram advertising the cost for an “end of the year” verse from a number of his clients, including buzzing Alabama native NoCap and Louisana upstart BWay Yungy. But unsurprisingly, a verse from YoungBoy carries by far the biggest price tag.
According to Junnier’s post, NBA YoungBoy charges $300,000 plus for a feature, while Never Broke Again affiliates NoCap and Bway demand in the region of $25,000 and $3,500, respectively.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s feature price puts him ahead of many of his rap peers, including Polo G ($150,000), Moneybagg Yo ($100,000), YK Osiris ($100,000) and Fivio Foreign ($50,000). Lil Baby announced last year he charges $100,000 a verse, but given his continued winning streak, that figure has likely gone up.
YoungBoy’s rate also puts him on par with DaBaby, who also charges no less than $300,000, but they are both nowhere near Nicki Minaj’s insane $500,000 fee for a verse.
Despite his hefty feature price, NBA YoungBoy doesn’t always accept requests for a verse from him. Earlier this year, Never Broke Again affiliate Herm Tha Blacksheep revealed the Sincerely, Kentrell rapper has turned down hundreds of thousands of dollars for features. He also claimed he’s “the only artist that [has] never paid for a feature.”
YoungBoy was featured on only three records in 2021, which were “Hood Melody” with DDG and OG Parker, “Everything Different” alongside Rod Wave from Kawhi Leonard’s Culture Jam album and his show-stealing verse on Tyler, The Creator’s “WusYaName” off CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST.
The latter is nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards, marking NBA YoungBoy’s first-ever Grammy nod.
