#NBA rookie Tyler Herro and model girlfriend star in viral twerking video

Heat rookie Tyler Herro and model Katya Elise Henry are having a moment on social media.

The duo — first linked during the early months of quarantine — starred in a recent TikTok clip, in which Instagram sensation Henry can be seen twerking with Herro standing behind her. The video has been viewed over 578,000 times on Twitter.

Herro, the 13th overall pick in last year’s NBA draft, has been making the most of his time with Henry ahead of the NBA’s restart inside the Disney World bubble. Herro initially flirted with Henry on Twitter in March, with the pair later moving their romance to Instagram in May.

Ready to restart his already impressive rookie season, in which Herro averaged 12.9 points per game and 27.2 minutes per game, the 6-foot-5 star seemingly shaded critics Wednesday as to how he spent his downtime amid the coronavirus crisis.

“I turned into a beast, while you stayed the same, I guess we ain’t the same,” Herro wrote on Instagram.

Henry, who boasts 7.5 million followers on the social media platform, replied, “Let em know KING ♡✨.”

The Heat traveled from Miami to Orlando on Wednesday, per the Miami Herald, with 15 members of its 17-player roster. Two unnamed players, who previously tested positive for coronavirus, are slated to join the team at a later point in time.
