“My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog Receives 2nd Visual and PV, Will Have 15 Opening Song Artists”

The second visual and trailer for My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog have been released, with the former depicting main heroines Karen Inukai, Mike Nekotani, and Usagi Tsukishiro from the perspective of the teenager-turned-dog protagonist. A January 6 Japanese premiere date was also revealed.

Additionally, it was announced that the anime’s opening song “Gyakkyou Fuwaku Fraction” will have 15 artists performing it. The main artists are Miyumi Hashimoto, Yui Sakakibara, and Rita, while the featured artists include AiRI, Ayumi, Rekka Katakiri, Yumi Kawamura, Sayaka Sasaki, Duca, Mitsuki Nakae, Nomiko, Aki Misato, yozuca, rino, and riya from eufonius.

My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog is based on the manga by Gosei Furukawa that began in 2020 and released its fifth tankoubon volume in March 2022. It is serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine R digital magazine and published under the KC Deluxe label. 

The erotic comedy revolves around a student who wakes up to discover that he has become the literal pet dog of his classmate, the cool beauty Inukai-san. The manga utilizes a first-person perspective.

Takashi Andou is directing the anime with Hisashi Saito (Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department director) as visual director, Kazuaki Morita (Classroom of the Elite Season 1 and 2) as character designer, and marble’s Tatsuya Kikuchi as music composer. Quad is producing the show.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Shuuichirou Umeda as Pochita, Saya Aizawa as Karen, Mayu Sagara as Mike, and Yurie Kozakai as Usagi.
