Revealed after the first episode of the 5th season of My Hero Academia tonight was the first trailer for the upcoming third My Hero Academia anime film, My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes Mission. The trailer announces that the film will be released in Japan on August 6.

The first reveal for the film came last November with the visual seen above, promising that we’ll meet the “Three Musketeers,” likely referring to Bakugo, Deku, and Todoroki. Though with what we see in the trailer, it’s curious how the dynamic will work.

The staff from the TV anime and previous films return with manga creator Kohei Horikoshi supervising the film and providing the original character designer. My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes Mission is scheduled to be released in Japan on August 6, 2021. The first episode of My Hero Academia Season 5 is be streaming on Crunchyroll soon.
