#My Hero Academia Season 7’s 2nd Trailer Previews Tk from Ling Tosite Sigure Opening Song

An action-packed second trailer for My Hero Academia Season 7 has been released, previewing the opening song “Dare Ware Tame” by Tk from Ling Tosite Sigure.

My Hero Academia Season 7 is set to start airing on May 4 in Japan. It will be preceded by four My Hero Academia Memories recap episodes that begin in April. The new season mark the anime debut of Romi Park‘s Star and Stripe.

My Hero Academia is based on the Weekly Shonen Jump manga by Kouhei Horikoshi, which began serialization in 2014 and has 39 tankoubon volumes as of November 2023. Viz Media describes its plot as:

Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he hasn’t got an ounce of power in him. With no chance of ever getting into the prestigious U.A. High School for budding heroes, his life is looking more and more like a dead end. Then an encounter with All Might, the greatest hero of them all, gives him a chance to change his destiny…

The Bones-produced anime adaptation began in 2016. Season 6 started airing in October 2022 and ended in March 2023. The fourth My Hero Academia anime movie, My Hero Academia The Movie: You’re Next, hits Japanese theaters on August 2.
