A sixth season of My Hero Academia has been announced, with the TOHO animation YouTube channel also releasing an announcement trailer for it.
The sixth season will see the heroes engaging in an all-out confrontation with the villains. Further details such as its release date will be revealed later.
The fifth season of My Hero Academia began in March and ended in September. It adapted the Joint Training arc, the Endeavor Agency arc, and the My Villain Academia arc.
My Hero Academia is based on Kōhei Horikoshi’s ongoing mangaseries, which began serialization in 2014 and has 31 tankōbon volumes as of August 2021. The anime series began in 2016. There have also been three anime movies. Both the movies and the series are produced by Bones.
