#My Hero Academia Gets Villain Academia Key Visual For Upcoming Arc

My Hero Academia has released a new key visual featuring the League of Villains, ahead of the start of its “Villain Academia Arc” on August 21. The visual includes the characters Tomura Shigaraki, Himiko Toga, Dabi, Twice, Spinner, and Mr. Compress.

The first episode of the arc, titled “My Villain Academia,” will be the fifth season’s 20th episode and the 108th overall.

Funimation describes the arc as:

The League of Villains is dead broke and getting nowhere fast. All For One’s enormous bodyguard Gigantomachia arrives to pulverize them into shape. But before they’re back on their feet, the sinister Meta Liberation Army, led by Re-Destro, comes out of the woodwork to destroy the League and anyone who tries to regulate Quirks.

This multi-episode arc is dedicated to the bad guys, old and new, of My Hero Academia and will be an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride, including Himiko Toga in a bloody showdown and new insights into Tomura Shigaraki’s tortured past. What secrets will the League of Villains unlock within themselves as they clash against their greatest opponents yet?

My Hero Academia‘s fifth season began in March with the “Joint Training Arc,” where Class 1-A and Class 1-B faced off in team battles. The next and recently concluded arc, the “Endeavour Agency Arc,” saw Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki getting a taste of Pro Hero work with the #1 Hero, Endeavour.
