People REALLY like My Dress-Up Darling, that much is a fact. So much so that the official Twitter account for the franchise revealed today that only two weeks after announcing that 6 million copies of the manga have been printed (physically) and sold (digitally), that figure has now reached over 6.5 million copies! That’s over 500,000 copies in a mere two weeks!

This also means that since the My Dress-Up Darling TV anime started in January, the series has had 3 million copies of the manga picked up by retailers and people across Japan, with 1 million of those over the last 5 weeks since the anime ended. Meccha sugoi, indeed!

The My Dress-Up Darling TV anime aired from January 9, 2022, to March 27, 2022, and was directed by Keisuke Shinohara and with animation produced at CloverWorks. The series streamed weekly right here on Crunchyroll, which describes the series as such:
