Muse Asia has launched its first Hakken! physical store in Singapore, which opened to the public on January 16.

Situated in Plaza Singapura, the store features a spacious 2,200 square feet space and merchandise from various anime titles in Muse Asia’s licensed catalogue including Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, One Punch Man, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Cells at Work!.

The merchandise on sale includes shirts, cups, plushies, figurines, and nenderoids. Aside from anime merchandise, there are also products based on the popular Fate/Grand Order game and the Chinese animation King’s Avatar.

Additionally, there is a photo area for customers to pose with character stands. The current stands feature characters from the hit anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

MUSE Communication Singapore General Manager Jeff Lee said in a press release, “Singapore is one of the most vibrant anime hubs in Southeast Asia, and we see plenty of room for growth for the anime retail scene here. We hope to bring the liveliness and spirit of the anime world to our fans and consumers with the launch of the physical Hakken! store and the unique elements it carries.

Lee added,  “We were inevitably focused on battling and recovering from the effects of COVID-19 last year, and many events were forced to cancel. However, we are nearing the light at the end of the tunnel, and we can’t wait to introduce a whole new experience that the anime world offers.”

Hakken! originally began as an online store in June 2019. As for Muse Asia, the company licenses anime for Southeast Asia and streams titles like Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation and Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina on its YouTube channel.
